Katju plans to work promotion of Kashmiri culture

Former Press Council of India (PCI) Chairperson Justice Markandey Katju is planning to work for the preservation and promotion of Kashmiri culture.

In a statement, Katju said a meeting was today held to create an organisation which would promote Kashmiri language, sufi poetry and Kashmiri philosophy, etc.

Katju said he would become one of the patrons of the organisation which would also serve to help Kashmiris in matters such as flood relief and creating job opportunities.
