Kewal Handa appointed non-executive chairman of Union Bank

Kewal Handa was today appointed as non-executive chairman of Union Bank of India.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Handa's appointment as non-official director/non-executive chairman of the bank, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said, without citing any details about him.

Handa will hold the post for a period of three years.
