Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott gives birth to twin girls

Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott has welcomed twin girls with husband Chris Tyrell.

The 31-year-old musician took to Instagram to announce the news.

"Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls. They were born in the early hours of January 29th, 2018 and we can't wait to share more about them in the days to come.

"Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies, and thank you Lord for healthy babies. #twins," Scott wrote alongside a photo with two striped caps embroidered with letters 'A' and 'B'.

The "Need You Now" hitmaker gave a miss to the 2018 Grammy Awards owing to her pregnancy.
 

Scott is also a mother to four-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye.
