He was taken to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) for treatment
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday sustained injuries, when the stage collapsed during a religious function in Digha locality in Bihar's Patna.
Former Bihar CM had gone to Digha Ghat locality in Patna to attend a religious function and as he was alighting from the stage, it collapsed suddenly.
According to the Police, overcrowding on the stage was the reason behind the accident.
He was taken to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) for treatment. Senior doctors conducted medical check-up of Lalu Prasad Yadav to assess any injury.
