Lawyer shot dead, son injured in attack

A 40-year-old lawyer was shot dead allegedly by five persons over property dispute here, police said.

Jagat Pal Singh, a resident of Phoolbehar area, was killed and his son sustained injuries in the attack last night.

Three of the five accused have been arrested, police said adding that a dispute over a plot of land was stated to be the reason behind the murder.
