LeEco registers Rs 200 cr sale in festive sale

Chinese handset maker LeEco today said it registered sales of Rs 200 crore during the festive period on various e-commerce platforms.

"LeEco breached the Rs 200 crore mark with sales of 200,000 Superphones, 1800 SuperTVs and 500-plus accessories across all four platforms - LeMall.Com, Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal," it said in a statement.

"Promotional gambits like product exchange and cash back offers are undoubtedly great incentives... LeEco Superphones were top selling products in this entire shopping frenzy," LeEco COO Smart Electronics Business Atul Jain said.

SHEROES acquires Gharkamai.Com

* SHEROES, an online career platform for women, has acquired Gharkamai.Com for an undisclosed amount.
 

Gharkamai.Com is an online platform which helps professional home-based women find work. Over the past 10 years, Gharkamai has offered women on its platform to reach more than 1,500 companies to find project based work.

SHEROES is the largest careers community of women, with members from over 20,000 locations across India. Over 12,000 companies actively use the platform.

Helpchat partners with nearbuy

* Helpchat has partnered with nearbuy, an online marketplace for offline businesses to help improve the user experience and increase the outreach for both the players.

Nearbuy will get access to acquire and retain new and old users respectively at low-cost through Helpchat's 2.5 million-plus user base across the country, and Helpchat would offer its users a variety of personalised offers by 18,000-plus merchants on nearbuy, it said.

Helpchat has already partnered with CouponDunia, MysmartPrice and Little.

Trupik launches kiosks for virtual trial room experience

Hyderabad: Trupik, a city-based startup, today said it was launching "Trupik Kiosks" which will have high-end 3D cameras to scan customers and provide them virtual trial room experience, in select apparel brand stores here.

According to a press release issued by company, the consumers will have to download Trupik Connect app to have the in-shop experience.

While the physical trial of clothes stays, the new experience is highly advanced for digital shoppers who had the only option to pick the apparel of a certain size, it stated.
