Lt Governor Anil Baijal today reviewed the law and order situation in the national capital and asked the Delhi Police to use digital technology and innovations for effective policing in the city.
Baijal, who took over as 20th Lt Governor of Delhi on December 31, met the city Police Commissioner Alok Verma and other top police officials.
"Held meeting with CP Delhi and officers of Delhi Police at Raj Niwas. Advised to use digital technology & innovations for effective policing (sic)," he tweeted.
Baijal had on January 1 joined microblogging site Twitter in an effort to seek a more productive engagement with the people of Delhi and media.
