Madani returns to prison after six weeks medical treatment

Chairman of Kerala-based People's Democratic Party and accused in the July 2008 serial blasts here, Abdul Nasser Madani, returned to the central prison in the city today after undergoing treatment at a wellness centre for more than six weeks.
Madani was admitted to the centre on January 7 on the directions of the High Court for treatment of his multiple illnesses, sources in Parappana Agrahara jail said.
He has been lodged in jail since his arrest in August 2010 for his alleged role in the blasts conspiracy.
