Channing Tatum has revealed 'Magic Mike 2' will be a road trip movie and will be more crazy and fun than the first film.
Tatum, 33, whose own stripper past formed the basis for 2012's breakout hit 'Magic Mike', said the film's follow-up will take place on the open road, reported Contactmusic.
"It will be a road trip movie, and it will essentially be the movie that everyone thought the first one was going to be - crazy and fun and less slice-of-life and less drama. The first one, we had to make not so cheesy and campy; this one we are going to swing for the fences," he said.
However, the sequel, which is currently in development, has already hit a roadblock as 'Magic Mike' director Steven Soderbergh is insistent on taking a break from filmmaking following the release of his Liberace biopic 'Behind the Candelabra' earlier this month.
