Maha to form sub-committees on Punchhi panel recommendations

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan at the Sahaydri guest house this evening.

According to sources, the sub-committees will go through the concurrent list and recommend to the Centre what could be included in the state list.

School Education Minister Rajendra Darda, in the eye of a storm over the coal scam, did not attend the Cabinet meeting, sources said, adding the issue did not come up at the meeting.
