A tourist from Maharashtra was killed and eight others injured when their vehicle turned turtle near the famous hill resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir, police said today.
The vehicle, carrying a group of tourists from Maharashtra, turned turtle while negotiating a blind curve at Sharabi morh, 50 kms from here, yesterday, resulting in on-the-spot death of a woman Aneesa Begum, a police spokesman said.
He said eight other tourists travelling in the vehicle, bearing Maharashtra registration number, were injured in the accident and were hospitalised.
