Man sentences man to life for murder of his own two children

The additional district and session judge Yogesh Narayan Singh passed the order sentencing one Sanjay Ram to life and imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on him after finding him guilty of the charges of committing the murder of his minor children Vandana Kumari (5) and Pradeep Kumar (1).

According to prosecution, the convict had hacked his two children to death with a spade following a quarrel with his wife after she had refused to give him money.

The woman had sustained injuries in attack by her husband.

Ram's mother Baso Devi had lodged a case against her son charging them with the murder of her two grandchildren.
