A man allegedly shot at and critically injured his cousin before shooting himself dead in Gangapur City of Swai Madhopur district today.
Madhusudan (27) shot at his cousin Shyama (26) when she was waiting for her college bus, police said.
She was taken by passers-by to a nearby hospital where doctors stated her condition as critical and referred her to the SMS Hospital in Jaipur, the city police said.
Madhusudan died on the spot, it said.
The two were allegedly in a love affair, police added.
