Maoist bandh fails to evoke response

There were no untoward incidents reported in any of the 11 mandals in the agency area, police said.

Government offices, schools and commercial establishments functioned as usual, except in Paderu mandal, where some commercial establishments remained closed.

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) which operated its regular services during the day, has suspended its night services, police said.
