Mayim Bialik still recovering from her injuries

'The Big Bang Theory' star Mayim Bialik says her wounds from a horrific accident last year are gradually healing.

The 37-year-old actress, who was hurt in a car accident and has filed a lawsuit against the driver and the bosses at Hertz rental car company, said the incident almost cost her a hand, reported TMZ online.

"I almost lost my hand. I sustained significant injuries for which I am still recovering and will continue to be recovering," Bialik said.

When the Emmy-nominated actress was asked about her current condition, she replied, "It's alright.
