Measure for maintenance of biomedical equipments

The Arunachal Pradesh National Health Mission has entered into an agreement with Hyderabad-based Mediciti Healthcare Services Pvt Ltd for maintenance of biomedical equipments across various Public Health Centres (PHCs) in the state.

The agreement was signed on Monday by state Mission Director, P N Thungon in presence of state Health and Family Welfare Special Secretary Prince Dhawan and Director of Health Services, Dr Moji Jini, an official statement said here today.

The programme would come in force within six months as the mapping and tagging of all the inventories have started.

Under the programme, Mediciti Healthcare Services would administer all maintenance activities on behalf of state health department.
 

It would perform preventive maintenance of all medical equipments under the contract and calibration of medical equipments wherever applicable.

The Biomedical Equipments Maintenance Programme would boost the health care service delivery across the state by making available functional biomedical equipments in all the public health centres, it said.
