Medium-intensity quakes hit Himachal, Assam

Three medium-intensity earthquakes today hit Himachal Pradesh and Assam.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, two earthquakes measuring 3 and 3.6 on the Richter scale hit Solan and Shimla-Kullu region in Himachal Pradesh.

Solan experienced the jolt at 6:04 PM Kullu-Shimla region at 7:09 PM. Both occurred at the depth of 10 km.

Before that, another quake measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale hit the Kokrajhar region of Assam at 1:46 PM.
