Meenakshi Temple website hacked

The website of the famous Meenakshi Temple here has been hacked, police said.

They said temple officials found the website hacked last night and filed a complaint with police, but declined to divulge details.

A team led by City Commissioner of Police Sanjay Mathur have begun investigations.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati and has an estimated 33,000 sculptures.
