Mentha oil down by 0.2% on muted demand
Ample stocks on higher supplies from producing belts also affected prices

Mentha oil prices declined by 0.24% to Rs 913.10 per kg in futures trading today owing to tepid demand from consuming industries in the spot market against ample stocks on higher supplies from producing belts.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in far-month January fell by Rs 2.20, or 0.24%, to Rs 913.10 per kg in business turnover of 1 lot.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in December contracts weakened by Rs 1.50, or 0.17%, to Rs 901.30 per kg in 21 lots.
Analysts said besides fall in demand from consuming industries in the physical market, adequate stocks availability on the back of higher supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh mainly led to decline in mentha oil prices at futures trade.
