Pop star Miley Cyrus is set to host and perform 'Saturday Night Live' on October 5.
The 20-year-old 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker previously hosted the show in 2011 and her latest appearance on the show comes soon after her controversial performance during the MTV VMAs, reported Hollywood Life.
Comedian Tina Fey would be hosting the 39th season's premiere on September 28. She would be joined by musical guest Arcade.
Fey would be hosting the late night comedy series for the fourth time since her departure as a cast member in 2006.
Bruce Willis will host the October 12 episode, joined by "Roar" singer Katy Perry as the night's musical guest.
It is rumoured that pop diva Lady Gaga may also serve as a host and performer at some point this season.
