A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were today found hanging in a room of a guest house in Katra, the base camp of Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said the the duo hailed from Gujarat and have been identified as Chintan and Janvi.
"They were found hanging from a ceiling fan in a room of Vishwa guest house in Katra town of Reasi district in the morning," Reasi SSP Tahir Ahmed Bhat said.

The room was locked from inside. Police reached the spot upon information broke into the room, he said.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway, Bhat said.
