Minor girl rescued in J-K

A minor girl who was abducted in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district was rescued from Amritsar and the abductor arrested, police said today.
The minor's father had lodged a complaint at Billawar Police Station yesterday that his daughter was kidnapped, the police said, adding a police team was constituted for the purpose and it raided several places within and outside the state.
After continuous efforts, the police rescued the girl from Amritsar in Punjab and accused Mohammad Sadiq was arrested, they said, adding the minor girl was handed over to her family.
