Police have recovered the body of a man, who went missing while returning home, near Rishi market area here.
The deceased identified as Vineet Kumar, a chemist, had gone missing since last night, when he left for home after closing his medical store, police said today.
Later, police found his body with injury marks, along the road near the Rishi market under Etah city police station limits and sent it for post mortem examination as the identification of the body was not made then.
Meanwhile, Kumar's family reached the government mortuary after searching for him, and identified him.
The family claimed that Kumar was murdered as there were signs of injuries on his body.
An FIR was registered against unidentified accused, police said, adding no arrests have been made so far.
