Motorcyclist killed after being hit by Royal Bhutan Army vehicle in Assam

A 50-year-old man died after being hit by a Royal Bhutan Army vehicle on Indo-Bhutan Road here Thursday?, police said.

Nabin Das was knocked down by the vehicle near the Rangia Public Bus stand under Kamalpur Police Station in Kamrup district of, they said.

He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries, police said.

Sources said the vehicle has been seized and its driver detained.

Officials of the neighbouring country have rushed here after being informed about the incident, they said.

The RBA vehicle was part of a convoy of the force on way by the Indo-Bhutan Road to the land-locked Himalayan kingdom through its Samdrup Jhongkar entry point near here, police said.
