MP stampede: Congress blames state government

Three women were killed and 35 others injured when a stampede broke out early today at the temple.

Expressing grief over the mishap, Singh said despite knowing that a large number of devotees visit the temple during Navratri festival the authorities concerned failed to make any proper arrangements.

As the temple is situated in the home district of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, it's a serious concern that such a tragedy has happened there, he added.
