Murder accused arrested while trying to board a train

Working on the call details and mobile phone's tower location, Kolata Police sleuths today arrested the accused in the murder of a 40-year-old woman from Howrah station when he was trying to board a train to escape from West Bengal.

According to Kolkata Police officers, Rahul Singh was the main accused in the murder of the woman in a Kasba apartment on Wednesday.

Singh, a youth in his early 20s was working at deceased Anmol Jain's husband Manoj Kumar Jain's shop and has admitted of having committed the crime, they said.

On Wednesday night, Manoj found Anmol lying dead on the floor of their flat when he reached there after his calls to her mobile went unanswered.
 

Singh was learnt to have fled with some jewellery and cash after killing Anmol.
