Mustard seed futures trade flat on low demand

Mustard seed prices traded flat at Rs 3,924 per quintal in futures trade Friday due to low demand at spot market.

Market analysts attributed the fall in mustard seed prices to off-loading of bets by operators, triggered by a weak trend on ample stocks.

On the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, mustard seed for August contracts traded flat at Rs 3,924 per quintal with an open interest of 59,220 lots.
