Mustardseed prices were down by Rs 27 to Rs 3,907 per quintal in future trade today owing to fresh selling by participants in line with weak physical markets.
Marketmen said persistent selling by traders triggered by weak spot markets, mainly pulled mustardseed prices down at futures market.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange platform, mustardseed for delivery in far-month April 2017 contracts dropped by Rs 27 or 0.69 per cent to Rs 3,907 per quintal, with an open interest of 10,810 lots.
Mustardseed for delivery in January month contracts fell by Rs 16 or 0.37 per cent to Rs 4,314 per quintal, having an open interest of 29,480 lots.
