Jeera prices declined by 0.30 per cent to Rs 19,635 per quintal in futures trading today as traders cut down positions amid easing demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in October fell by Rs 60, or 0.30 per cent, to Rs 19,635 per quintal with an open interest of 12,477 lots.
