The body of a newborn girl child was found in southeast Delhi's Taimur Nagar area today, the police said.
The parents of the girl were later traced and they told the police that they didn't kill her. They claimed that the girl was a stillborn and they didn't bury her due to some superstition, they said.
Their neighbours were also questioned and they confirmed that the parents were telling the truth but the police is investigating the matter, they added.
