Noida principal robbed of Rs 2.5 lakh in Bharatpur

A college principal in Noida has claimed that he was robbed of Rs 2.5 lakh by a car seller in Rajasthan's Bharatpur, the police said today.

According to the complainant, Pushpinder Singh, the alleged incident took place on December 13, when he had gone to Bharatpur to buy a car after seeing its advertisement on a website.

"The seller of the car asked me to come and fix a deal where he took me to a secluded place and robbed Rs 2.5 lakh," Singh claimed.

"I have emailed a complaint to the concerned SHO and SSP of Bharatpur," he said.
 

However, there was no official word from the police whether the complaint was recieved.
