Press Trust of India Lucknow
Social activist Nutan Thakur today shot off a letter to SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and his MP daughter-in-law Dimple Yadav pointing out alleged discrepancies in their affidavits filed before Election Commission during the Lok Sabha polls.

Thakur, the wife of suspended IPS officer Amitabh Thakur who is at loggerhead with the SP chief, has alleged that in his affidavit filed for Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat, Mulayam Singh had said that he had not given any loan to any private person.

However, Dimple at the page 16 of her affidavit dated April 2, 2014 for Kannauj Lok Sabha seat, mentioned about Mulayam Singh's Rs five lakh loan given to her and Rs three lakh loan given to Akhilesh, she claimed in the letter.

Calling it contradictory, Thakur has requested them to clarify the matter to Election Commission.
