Officer arrested for possessing disproportionate assets

: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today said that it had arrested an administrative officer working with the State Transport Commissioners office for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs 2.20 crore.

The ACB said that a case under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against P Ravinder after they conducted simultaneous searches at Ravinders house and five other locations.

The market value of the total movable and immovable assets found during the searches would be approximately Rs 6 crore, the agency said.
