Omar expresses grief over death of 3 brothers in explosion

National Conference working president Omar Abdullah expressed shock and grief over the tragic death of three minor brothers in anexplosion near Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district today.

Describing the incident as most tragic, Omar conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.

Condoling the deaths, NC Provincial President (Jammu) Devender Singh Rana called for expeditious investigations into the circumstances leading to the explosion that cost three precious lives.

The three brothers -- Vikar (15), Deepu (10) and Meheshu (7), died after a blast took place in a nallah areanear Birma bridgein Udhampur.

Investigations are on into the nature the blast and reasons for the children being at the accident site.
