One person has been arrested for allegedly manufacturing and selling adulterated ghee in Budhana town here, police said today.
One quintal of adulterated ghee was seized yesterday from one Ved Ram, who used to prepare ghee by mixing it with animal fat and refined oil, police said.
Action on a tip off, police raided his residence here, where he used to manufacture the ghee and arrested him, they said.
He has been supplying ghee to various places in Haryana, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh, police said adding that the accused has confessed his crime and they are further investigating the issue.
