One dead, 3 injured in clash in UP

One person was killed and three others injured in a clash between rival factions over election rivalry in Mavai village in Rae Bareli, police said today.

The factions opened fire at Parsipur crossing in Mavai village under Uchahar police station area last evening, police said here.

The injured were rushed to hospital where Narendra Bahadur was declared brought dead, they said, adding that both the factions had been involved in a tiff since the panchayat elections in the state.
