Pak boy commits suicide after being scolded by father

Khursheed Ali had not been going to school for the past two days and became annoyed when his father rebuked him, a police spokesman said.

Ali used his father's pistol to commit suicide, the spokesman said.

This was the third instance of a student committing suicide in the country this month.

On May 19, a 12-year-old schoolboy in Punjab province died after setting himself on fire.

He was upset that his father had refused to appear before the headmaster of his school.

A 13-year-old boy committed suicide in Abbottabad city over the weekend after he was allegedly harassed by a warden at his boarding school.
