Miley Cyrus' fans have sent death threats to her new boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger after he was spotted getting cosy with another female.

Cyrus' fans sent thousands of hate tweets threatening to kill him and burn down his pizza shop, reported TMZ.

"You better run for your life when you come to LA and I hope your pizza place burns down," a user wrote.

Another wondered, "Who's gonna kill Patrick for us?"

"... Be ready for what's about to come," another user wrote punctuating the threat with a knife and emojis.
