Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said benefits other than plots, which have already been extended to families not enlisted under BPL category in the state, would be recovered from them.
Hooda said he had received some complaints concerning ineligible families taking benefits under BPL schemes and programmes in the state and has ordered a review of the matter.
"The number of such families was more than one lakh," he said, adding, "If any plot has been allotted to ineligible BPL families, the same would be recovered by the government".
Meanwhile, orders have been issued to ensure that eligible persons are not victimised in the process and a review would be conducted at the level of concerned Deputy Commissioner, he added.
