PM congratulates Indian cricket team

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated Indian Cricket Team after it beat West Indies by four wickets in a group league match in Perth (Australia) to enter the quarter-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

"Congratulations to the Cricket Team for the win against West Indies. The Men in Blue seem to be having a great tournament!" Prime Minister Modi tweeted on Indian team's victory.

This was Indian team's fourth consecutive win in the 2015 ICC World Cup.

Chasing a modest target of 183, India achieved the victory target in 39.1 overs with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni playing an unbeaten knock of 45 to ensure team's fourth consecutive win in the tournament.
