Policewoman robbed of mobile

A man today snatched the mobile phone of a woman Delhi Police constable in central Delhi's Daryaganj area, police said.

However, the snatcher, identified as 20-year-old Asif, was overpowered by the local people who handed him over to the police.

According to the police, 24-year-old constable Preeti was targeted by the snatcher when she had gone to recharge her mobile in a nearby crowded market along with her colleague Rukshana.
