First Superintendent of Police of the newly formed Palghar district Suez Haque today said his priority will be to maintain law and order by putting in place proactive and transparent policing.
The 2005 IPS batch office told reporters that he would tour in the entire district for next two-three months and visit all police stations.
"We want police to have a cooperative attitude with the people. Strict action will be taken against anti-social elements. Our focus would be on curbing crime against women, children and backward classes and senior citizens," he said.
He said he would ensure security of the the district by protecting people and natural resource i.E. Forests in the tribal-dominated district.
