President Pranab Mukherjee will offer prayers at the ancient hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near here on December 25.
Before visiting the shrine, Mukherjee would inaugurate a Rs 25 crore Veda Patasala (Vedic School) built by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at Ai Bhimavaram in west Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, TTD Chairman Chadalavada Krishnamurthy told PTI here.
After inaugurating the school, the President would arrive here in the afternoon by an IAF aircraft for offering prayers at the shrine.
