Rain expected in parts of Bihar tomorrow

Light to moderate rain occurred at a few places in north east Bihar, while the weather remained dry in other parts of the state with Gaya being the hottest place in the state at 42.9 degrees Celsius.

As per a Met office bulletin, Gaya registered three degrees above its normal maximum temperature.

Gaya was followed by the state capital where the maximum temperature stood at 37.4 deg C against yesterday's 37.6 deg C, while Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded 35.8 deg C and 33.0 deg C respectively, the Met office said adding, Purnea received a rainfall of 47.3 mm since yesterday.
 

A Met office forecast said Bhagalpur and Purnea may witness rain, thunderstorm or dust storm in the next 24 hours, while Patna and Gaya are expected to witness a partly cloudy sky tomorrow.
