Two candidates entered the fray for Kota (South) seat while no nominations were filed today for bypolls to three other assembly seats in Rajasthan.
Babu Lal, who said he submitted his papers as a Congress candidate, and Rajesh Gupta, an Independent, filed their nominations for Kota (South) assembly bypoll.
A Congress spokesman, however, said "Babu Lal is not the party's authorised candidate. We have so far declared only two candidates -- Ramnarayan Gujjar from Nasirabad and Bhajan Lal Jatav from Weir constituencies."
