Blistering heat wave conditions today swept across Rajasthan affecting the normal life as temperature hovered around 43 to 45.1 degrees Celsius at many places.
According to MeT office, Churu was recorded as the hottest place at 45.1 degrees C, followed by Barmer which sizzled at 44.8 degrees C today.
Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner were hot at 44.7 degrees C while Kota recorded maximum of 44.4 degrees C, it said.

Jaipur, Sriganganagar, Pilani also recorded day temperature of 44, 43.5 and 43.2 degrees Celsius respectively, according to Met department.
MeT office, in a forecast, said mercury would further rise in the state during the next 24 hours.
