Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP president Amit Shah today offered prayers at Pitambara Peeth temple complex here before heading for a rally at Jhansi in the poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.
Union Ministers Kalraj Mishra, Thawar Chand Gehlot and BJP vice president Vinay Sahastrabuddhe and party's UP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya accompanied them.
The BJP leader reached here by a special aircraft and were received by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state minister Narottam Mishra.
Afterwards they left for the party's 'Parivartan Rally' at Jhansi.
