Rapper YG shot three times outside his studio

Rapper YG was shot thrice in the hip when he was leaving from his studio after a recording session.

The 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson managed to pull himself into his car and someone from his entourage drove him to a nearby hospital, reported Aceshowbiz.

He is doing fine now, said entrepreneur and hip-hop marketing guru Karen Civil, who has worked with YG in the past.

"YG is doing fine. Nothing life-threatening," Civil tweeted.

Police found "multiple shell casings and blood on the sidewalk." No one has been arrested regarding the shooting.

The "Who Do You Love?" rapper was reportedly "very uncooperative" when police tried to interview him.
