Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today said that the "resentment among ticket seekers" in RJD, JD(U) and Congress in the upcoming Bihar elections will be a boon for the NDA government, of which his Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) is an ally.

"The resentment among ticket seekers in RJD, JD(U) and Congress will become a boon for us as only one candidate among these three parties will get ticket in view of seat sharing agreement. The aspirant who does not get ticket will turn rebel and cut into opposition votes, helping us indirectly," he said.

Paswan, who heads the LJP, said Muslim, Yadav and Kurmi caste voters are annoyed and RJD chief Lalu Prasad cannot control the Yadavs.

"JD-U leader Nitish Kumar also has lost his clout over his Kurmi caste voters and his tying up with Lalu after remaining daggers drawn for years has sent a very wrong signal among the electorate," he told PTI in an interview.

Expressing little hope for the new tie-up between RJD and JD(U), the leader noted that Lalu and Nitish will "back stab" each other.

"This alliance is just aimed at putting up a show before the media. This is an alliance in which both (Lalu and Nitish) will meet with a knife in their hands and back stab each other," he said.
