Retired cop murdered by unidentified men

A retired policeman was killed by some unidentified persons in Sonbarsa village in Beria area, police said today.

Retired constable Gopal Upadhyay (67) was yesterday attacked by the assailants with sharp-edged weapons, they said.

The motive of the killing could not be ascertained yet, they said, adding that an FIR had been registered in the matter.
